I am Mehul Kanwal from Bulandshahar, Uttar Pradesh, and I own a jewelry shop in the main market of this city. Everything was going well with me in a positive direction until I got the shocking news of my kidney failure. It all started a few months back with moderate abdomen pain. I started noticing a moderate pain in my abdomen; firstly I thought it’s normal pain and took medicines from a local clinic in my neighborhood. After taking medicines, I got relief from the pain. But after a couple of days, I experienced the same pain and this time pain was more keen and deep. Again, I reached the same clinic and this time the doctor told me to take some laboratory tests. I took the same tests, after 2-3 days my reports were out. I again visited the clinic and then the doctor analyzed the reports and told me with a deep sigh that my kidneys have failed. Hearing this, I lost the ground beneath my feet. I got stunned for a couple of minutes and then the doctor told me that I have to undergo dialysis and kidney transplant.
